Would you like to walk part of the Camino de Santiago? From Feelfree we encourage you to fulfil this desire along with your family!
It is a simple walk in which you will enjoy unbeatable views all over the coastline, thus approaching the whaling history of San Sebastian and Pasajes.
Once we are in Pasajes, we will head to the Albaola Museum, where you will learn about the whale-whatching and whaling that made this area famous, back in the 16th century.
Also, you will see how the whalers' ships were built, thanks to the construction of the replica of the San Juan ship, that some local artisans are making possible.
After this visit, we will cross to Pasajes San Juan in a small boat called "txalupa", where in addition to walking through this unique coastal town, we will visit the house where Victor Hugo stayed and also taste some of the typical sea food.
To end up the day, we will visit the very beautiful walled town of Hondarribia, that has preserved its great natural and historical heritage. You will be able to behold its Roman and medieval vestiges, as well as an early century's architecture.
